I’ve found a few really old threads on mobile phone alerts, but none seem to have a definitive solution. I now have several eufy devices, and would like to assign unique alerts for each device on my Android phone.
Particularly frustrating, is that I’ve only managed to get a simple, single ‘beep’ alert to work. This isn’t helpful for my entry sensor especially, but I will also need a real attention grabbing alert for my cameras.
Has anyone found a solution for this need please? I have Android 14.
Sometimes too much customization can get confusing.
Here are 2 steps.
To do what you want, step 1; go into each device inside the Eufy app and then to Notification and set the tone you want whenever that device triggers a notification.
If you have done that and you’re still getting simple tones, step 2; go into App settings and then Eufy app settings and play around with Notification sounds in there.
Android allows you to play with tones inside the app itself, but it is going to override that with whatever the options are inside the main app setting. Especially important is Do Not Disturb, which may be automatically enabled if you’ve put the phone into some kind of “I’m at work” mode.
