Any tips for tuning the motion sensitivity so it works with little to no false triggers?

I recently bought the eufy Security SoloCam E42 4-Cam Kit (HomeBase S380). Got everything up and running and seems to work pretty well. I have a camera over the garage pointed to the driveway and I have the zone set up where it shouldn’t pick up the cars going by but I am seeing a trigger almost every time a car passes. Quite annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Check for shadows or lights going into the active area zone. Turn off any other motion

Well… I think I got things tuned. I had to adjust the default camera position lower in order to not view the road.:;This works but the motion activated field I created via the app should have accomplished this.

Yes it should, but I always find that the Activity Zones don’t work as they should.
Eufy suggests that if movement is detected outside of the activity zone they recommend shrinking the zone, so in your situation you would bring the zone line in closer - away from the street.
Until it stops detecting.

Thanks… makes sense. I was actually able to tune so I cover my intended zone without getting an alert on every vehicle that passes.
