As much as I love the Package Detection feature, I wish it was more reliable. I had this Amazon package delivered without it ever detecting it being delivered or when it fell over to be even more in frame.
I hope they’re able to make it when more consistently soon. I live in the city so Porch Pirates are always out.
Does anyone have any tips, such as certain setting adjustments, that can help improve the Package Detection feature?
I feel this Package delivery feature is a joke. I’ve been trying to get Eufy to add Motion to the Event “Detection Type” but they won’t. Now I see Package as a detection Type that I cannot even set on my 4 cameras settings. Inanimate objects should not be a selection. They are delivered by Humans (detectable) they are driven by Vehicles (detectable). The app should not be expected to identify boxes, how did it get there? delivered by something or someone.
If the wind blows a piece of paper onto the porch is it a package?

I have the video doorbell E340 I believe. I think it’s a more recent update.
Eufy is arguably the very bottom of near the bottom when it comes to ai. It seldom gets measurably better if move improves. It just adds new frustration. Misidentification of uploaded friendly faces even regularly puts a guys name over every female if they come from the same cameras
