At the same time as the HB Pro, I bought a eufyCam S4. While it was a bit of a pain to set-up, it’s a really nice camera and I’ve been able to replace two of the SoloCam C20 units with this one alone.
The bullet cam tracking is a bit hit and miss and I’ve found that disabling the AI track option improves matters. It took three attempts to get the bullet cam to accept a default location and zoom level that is different from the main 4k camera but now that is done, it works well.
Having the solar panel makes the additional free 10k mah battery a bit obsolete as it keeps topped up to 100% with ease. It would have been far better for Eufy to have provided a 3m+ extension cable for the solar panel, as I had to buy one to correctly locate the camera and panel where I needed them.
All said and done, the camera is a good addition to the set-up.
Now to see how well it works with the HB S380, once I’ve returned the disappointing HB Pro.
