I am new to eufy products. I recently purchased four S340 cameras, expecting to mount them on the corners of the house to be able to monitor all sides. Before I start drilling, I am looking for best practices on mounting. Should be mounted out straight out from the corner? Or be mounted on one side or the other? Once mounted, if the camera is pointing straight out from the corner, will it pick up motion on either side along the house? Or does something need to come at it from the front?
You can get a friend to hold up the camera where you want it to go and then use our app to see what the camera sees. There is a spit to rotate the lens it
You can mount it on the corner.
In the app the camera has four preset views where you can set the turret (camera lens) to point at and one is a default view.
The default view is where the cameras will return to after tracking movement is complete.
