Could someone please assist me in understanding why my new floodlight camera does not capture footage of the garbage collector passing by our residence to collect the waste? While I did not have a particular interest in observing him emptying our garbage can, I am curious as to why that specific segment of the video feed was omitted during his stop to collect the trash.

I can’t zoom to see if the time jumps. My camera on occasion skips as well. You should look at the 24/7 recording, if available, to see if it has the full event without a skip. Hope it doesn’t happen often.
I think that eufy would tell you angle and lighting play a significant role in event detections, they’ll probably blame that shade and shadows.
Or when my camera doesnt see the person walk to the car but then films it driving away
