Did eufy get rid of the option to set which preset you want your camera to move to if motion is detected?
No — eufy’s preset positions are for manual viewing, cruise, or returning the camera to a home/default position after tracking, not for “move to a preset when motion is detected.”
So if you want motion to trigger a different preset, that’s generally not a built-in eufy feature; it would need a workaround or another automation platform.
They just released an update where that feature was brought back, I can now program them to move when another camera detects motion.
Yeah, I was going to say… I thought that’s what you were talking about.
When one camera detects motion you can trigger an other camera to start recording and rotate to that cameras directions.
I knew it existed, but I felt crazy because support and others said otherwise.
