Does anyone else have an issue where people can’t hear you well through your earbuds’ microphone when you’re outside? Everything is set up correctly on my end, but the person I’m talking to says the sound is still bad.

Could you please let us know which earbud model you are using? With the exact model, we can better look into what may be affecting the call quality outdoors.

In the meantime, you may also try the following general steps:

  1. If you are currently using only one earbud for calls, please place the other earbud back into the charging case and make sure the lid is closed.
  2. Please check whether the earbuds are worn correctly and fit securely in your ears, as an unstable fit may affect microphone pickup.
  3. Please make sure your phone or other connected device has selected the soundcore earbuds as the active call audio device.
  4. You may try switching to your phone’s microphone first, then switching back to the earbuds’ microphone to see whether the call quality improves.
  5. When using the earbuds outdoors, please try to keep your phone close to the earbuds and avoid areas with strong wireless interference if possible.
  6. Please also check whether the microphone openings are clean and free of dust or debris.
  7. If convenient, please test the earbuds in a quieter environment or with another phone to help narrow down the cause.
