Does anyone know why my doorbell fails to capture so many events. Also when it does capture an event, it takes like 1 to 20 minutes to show up under events.
As far as capturing, make sure you adjust the sensitivity of what you want it to pick up in the app. Also maybe make sure there is not lights shining directly at it at nite. I believe there’s also a range adjustment in the app on how far you want it to start picking up. Play with those and that should fix that.
But as for it taking 20 min to see the event , sounds like either a slow connection ( internet speed ) or really far away from router or homebase and it is just uploading slow because of that. I got a poe internet extender by tp link and put close to front door and fixed that issue when mine was taking a while to upload. I imagine it’s same issue.
Thanks. It is 6 feet from the router on a 1gig wifi connection. Set at highest sensitivity and capture all motion.
