Does this happe

Does this happen to anyone else?

My backyard camera has been detecting motion randomly for a while and when I check I don’t seem to find an issue. Can someone suggest what to do

Cheers

My guess is the movements of the trees causing it to trigger. Maybe try making lessen the sensitivity and/or set it to “human only” Just a guess on my part. I have some flowers that trigger mine when the wind blows them about.

It‘s the shadow of the trees shaking in the wind. A major problem with my cam in the garden. Motion detection programming is pretty bad in this case and it‘s not possible to get the cam ignore this. Hoping for an update with more AI integrated

I agree with the shadow comments I have a lot of cameras and it happens

I get the same issue, you can add filters to block the trees.

When that happened to me I reset the wifi settings on my camera

Just go to motion settings and activate a better motion zone

Definitely the shadow of the trees. Try changing the sensitivity. Hope that helps

Moving trees wind shadows sometimes sensitivity put on a lower sensitivity or just move it out of any
Line of movement trees etc, see if that helps. If you don’t want to move it, then there’s a privacy setting a black spot. You could put on the camera to block it out if you need you it’s in your parameter setting your parameter the one where you can draw an octagon square or whatever try doing a different one without all that

Yes I have same issues with tree shadows

You could set a Motion Detection area or you could try a Privacy Area over the tree/shadow?

Mines does with shadow

my camera is being set off by flying bugs at night. Any suggestions?

Most likely the tree and its shadow, as others have said.

More than likely the shadow of the trees, maybe turn down the sensitivity

It most be the wind blowing the trees in your garden

It’s the tree shadows

They often detect a shadow as a motion. A rubbish bin and trees. Strange i know but it does happen

Day Lillies slightly moving in the wind set mine off. I just “reduced” this problem area with the box feature…and no more accidental captures.
