Entry sensors out of stock

I have four of them and all four are extremely difficult so it’s not just a one off. Terrible design.

Once they’re stuck to the door, you can pull it open slightly easier, but try to do that when they’re right out of the box. Impossible.

Do you have any issues with receiving alerts with the device being outside? I would love to use one our front gate, but don’t know how it will fair in the elements.

It uses 900mhz so signal travels better than the camera signal
For use outside I coated the board inside as seen here

So far it’s rained a couple of times & I’ve pressure washed them twice & they are still working fine

I purchased 11 Wyze Sense contact sensors about 11 months ago, and am now in the process of replacing all of them with Eufy Entry Sensors. I bought two Eufy Entry Sensors earlier this week, and have been very impressed with their efficiency…so I ordered three more…and next month three more…etc. Two of the Wyze sensors have already failed, and absolutely will not re-connect to the Wyze Bridge. Yes, they’re small (which I prefer over the Eufy), but the battery should last up to 2 years. Using the Eufy app, I can literally push one button and set all the sensors to activate an alarm on the HomeBase 2 if opened after I go to bed at night. And then using Automations, I can at the same time include the alarms on the outside EufyCam 2 Pros.

I did have difficulty opening up the case—would love for that to be improved. But, still, only every 2 years.

Why did you bump this 4 month old topic with absolutely no relevant new information?
