Every since the latest update, I am unable to access my E120 lights. Every time I try to select it I am getting Server Connection failed. How can I solve this issues?
Try unplugging the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.
I’ve tried that many a times but still having the same issues
Delete and reinstall
Mine is doing the same thing. I have tried adding it as a new device again and still does not work. Tried power cycling it 10-15 times and yet still does not work. About to just sell them and get govee at this point.
I definitely thing they purposely did this, because I have these lights and a 2800sqft house so I have one running for the fvirst floor and another on the second floor of the home exterior and both aren’t working. All I can do is just turn them on and off I can’t adjust them
Add me to same list with same error. Both E10 string lights and E22 outdoor lights. I can turn them on/off ftom the dashboard can not access them individually or go to the setting of each one. Just get the black screen like the previous poster.
The Eufy Life app seems to control them still. It doesnt have scheduling but you can adjust brightness and stuff. It seems to be an app problem not a light problem.
App updated August 7th and I’m still getting these issues as well. I’ve had issues with the schedule as well and then it was working for awhile and then after the update in July, everything went disconnected so to speak.
I did that several times. I think Eufy broke something. I’m now looking at Govee.
I have on or off. That’s it. The lights are stuck on 50% white or nothing. Server connection failed.
I hadn’t changed my light settings for some time and just encountered this problem so opened a ticket at service.eufy.com. Has anyone come up with a fix that works?
Our engineering team has urgently addressed and fixed this issue. To apply the fix, could you please try the following steps?
-Uninstall the current eufy App from your phone.
-Go to the Google Play Store and download the latest version of the eufy App again.
-Log back into your account and check whether the issue has returned to normal.
After reinstalling the latest app version, the issue should be resolved.
I got this in an email. But not sure why they can’t just release an update for the app instead of having to reinstall it.
It could be possibly that the update for the app you took prior some code just didn’t install property.
I would give this a shot before uninstalling the app, log out / sign out of the app and then remove it from your recent list.
Delete the apps cache.
Then sign in into the app.
I’ve deleted the cache and really don’t want to have to reinstall the app and recustomise everything. It started after the July update and not sure how reinstalling the app would do anything as it’s the same version that’s already installed.
Signed out and cleared the cache again and the issues are still there
So I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it and it seems to be working again. So you have to install the app and then reinstall it.
