Help! We have bought a Sandisk micro sd card and it is on the white list but even though we can format it on the computer we cannot when it is installed in the camera. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can try?

I know some cameras have a limit size in GB for the microSD cards…
It’s the indoor pan and tilt camera. The memory card is the same make and size as the one we have for our camera, the new one is for MIL, it will format on a computer but not in the camera
Well then possibly something may be wrong with the camera itself, you could try removing the micro SD card from one of your other cameras and then insert the new micro SD card that will not format into that camera to see if it will format it.
We have tried a different sd card and that formatted in the machine. It’s just weird that the new card will not format in the machine but will in a laptop
maybe just a defective card but I have 2 of the same indoor pan and tilt cameras and haven’t had a problem. My questions are: is it going all the way into the slot? Is it facing the correct direction? and does the app recognize that a card has been at least inserted and asking for it to be formatted? and then gives you a failed to format message?
Get a different brand for troubleshooting and see if it’s a device issue. You can always find a use for an SD card. Doesn’t hurt to have an extra.
The last one. Recognises the card says its formatting then fails. Our camera works just fine but will not format this new memory card either
