Here’s a better view of one of our family of last year’s Fawns! He’s growing up and getting a nice little set of antlers and looks strong and healthy and I can see the genetics of his ancestors ! We have been watching and learning from them for more than 15 years from our property and they all usually have the rear quarter that is higher and muscular traits in their legs and body and the Does have the muscular in the legs but rounded Rear quarters and not so much high and muscular looking! I hope that they make it through this next hunting season starting in a couple weeks! I will be praying and keeping a eye on them and providing some extra food source in the late winter months when not much brow or food source for them.
