I’m looking for some advice regarding my NVR setup with the S4 Pro PTZ and Bullet cameras. About a month ago, my system was reliably capturing facial images for visitors without any issues. Now, it’s barely detecting faces at all.
Here’s what’s happening:
The system has only picked up two facial images of my wife and me in the last week.
It hasn’t captured any facial shots of friends, family, or even our mailman.
The PTZ camera is still linked with the Bullet camera for optimal recognition and response.
Multiple times, the cameras detect “Human” but fail to identify or capture a face.
Locations, mounting, and setup have not changed since when it was working perfectly.
I recently installed a new home network infrastructure and did a full hard reset of the system.
Has anyone else experienced this drop in facial recognition performance after a reset or network change? Any tips for improving the set up?
