Hi everyone, I’m having a frustrating issue with my new Soundcore Liberty 5 and was hoping someone might know a fix or if this is a known bug. When I use high resolution audio (LDAC enabled) combined with Spotify (using its in-app EQ), I keep getting random static crackling and audio distortion. Right in the middle of a song, the audio will suddenly jump and briefly give me clean, high-intensity Dolby Audio out of nowhere, before immediately dropping back down to flat sound. This exact same crackling and unstable Dolby behavior happens on the Xiaomi Music app as well(Redminote13pro+). However, when I use YouTube/YT Music, there is no crackling sound at all, though the Dolby Audio toggle in the app doesn’t seem to do anything noticeable to the sound either. I have already tried resetting earbuds completely (held the case button for 10 seconds until the white LED flashed 3 times). Tested them on a different phones entirely to see if it was phone-specific, but the behavior stayed the same.
Someone I know had a similar experience, except just the crackling, we don’t know what the issue is though, also, it’s on a different model, but the best thing you can do is contact soundcore by emailing or calling them
I use a iPhone so I don’t get to use ldac at all ![]()
It could be because the quality of the song you are listening to doesn’t support LDAC. If it’s not that then try updating Spotify. Might work
Yeah I will try to reach them. Thank you for the information)
Yess but the sound quality is still good with AAC
No bro, it’s not just about the spotify, I tried using 3 different mobile phones and still the results were the same. That dolby music toggle doesn’t even do a single bit of change of the quality or immersion of the sound.

But we do have Dolby audio. Is that the same or equivalent to LDAC?
