Hi I have just purchased an Eufy C31 doorbell camera with a mini homebase chime and I was wanting to ask the community for any tips and tricks how to optimise the camera for beat performance please?
Thanks, Mark.
Nice
#1. Make sure router or home base is good connection.
#2. Adjust sensitivity as needed so you’re not seeing things that don’t matter.
#3. If using with alexa can set up routines to alert you on phone or TV or even eufy I believe. Can also do routines to have it alert you if motion was detected even if button wasn’t pressed.
#4. Wipe off lens with microfiber towel once a month or so. Just to keep image clear and sensitivity accuracy correct.

Ok
My camera detects images for awhile then just stops and a message says check internet connection yet all other devices Alexa connections work well. Anyone have any suggestions as to what is happening?
A few things that make the biggest difference: set your activity zones so the bins/path don’t trigger constant alerts, drop motion sensitivity a notch if you get false triggers from cars or shadows, and turn on human detection only. In the video settings, enable HDR… your doorway is bright while the porch is shaded, so it’ll balance the exposure. Keep the doorbell within decent WiFi range (2.4GHz reaches further), and if notifications lag, switch notification type to “text only” for faster alerts.
