HomeBase 3 + EufyCam S330 Stuttering

We recently purchased a two camera EufyCam 3 package and are experiencing stuttering in recorded clips. The HomeBase unit is within 30 feet of both cameras and each camera has a strong connection back.

By default, we set clips to be recorded in 4K, but also tested with 2K and 1080p. In terms of motion detection on the camera, sensitivity is set to 4 and using human detection.

Both the 4K and 2K clips exhibit stuttering in the recording itself, as does 1080p but it’s quite a bit smoother. The stuttering can be seen when viewing the clips in the Eufy Security app, downloaded to an iPhone 13 Pro, as well as 2022 MacBook.

I’ve seen various threads on older Eufy cameras exhibiting this behavior, which firmware updates appear to have addressed, and I wasn’t expecting a similar defect to be present in new cameras.

I am experiencing the same issue. Had to drop the recording back to 1080p to stop the stuttering. I also find the motion detection to be very poor. I’m getting recordings of people who are already moving off camera. It detects the motion very late. I’ve tried sensitivity between 4-7. Sometimes I can walk past the camera, and it won’t even detect me.
