Horrible experience last night. A man attempted to break into our home on Bay Street in Staten Island. Before forcefully hitting our door, he gestured to others nearby, which was extremely alarming.
I’ve reported the incident to the police and have additional video footage that clearly shows his face, in case he returns with his crowd!
Sharing this to warn the community—please stay alert. This was truly frightening.
He probably wasn’t trying to break in. He was signaling to his buddy to start recording the video. That is apparently a thing now. Google it and you will see a ton of these. They video themselves kicking or banging on a door and then running away. Still not good, still scary, but just punks being punks.
I’m pretty sure he wasn’t trying to break in. Like the other comment had mentioned, the kids banging on doors and kicking doors seems to be a current trend. It’s absolutely stupid and these dumbass kids need to spend a night or two in the juvenile detention center.
I partly blame the parents as well. They don’t discipline their kids these days and the entire social wokeness has taken over the younger generation. Maybe when they get caught, the parents should be forced to pay for any damages or a brand new door. Maybe then they will put their kids in line and straighten them out.
Yeah I think that’s supposed to be the new ding dong ditch… All over the news. Locally it’s a kid kicking a door and running, looks like this guy was stomping the porch like he’s trying to stomp out a bag of flaming dog poo.
