I added two 16 feet extension cables to my 150 footlights and now experiencing some flickering when the unit is on 50-100 % brightness. Does anyone e know if purchasing a Driver Module will help ?
I know that you start to lose power when adding extension cables to these permanent outdoor lights. The power supply will usually function properly up to 200ft. Even if you added an additional strand of lights past 200ft, you would need a driver module and an additional power supply.
My guess would be that your extension cables might not be large enough for the power supply, even with only a 150ft strand. Maybe a larger gauge wire extension cable might be a solution to your flickering issue. Again, this is my best guess.
