I am getting a low battery notification on my front door keypad lock. It looks to be a rechargeable battery that fits the plug on my Android charger. Is it OK to recharge using this charger as I was not given a charging cord by my installer?

Take a look at the owner’s manual for the keypad lock just to verify the charging procedure.
The charging cord you have if it fits I’m sure will be fine to use.

Should be okay if you have an equivalent cable… You can check the specs for your model if you are concerned.

If your referring to the usb cable port on the back of the battery module that can be used to charge the battery, however there are options to charge the unit via the terminal pins refer to the owners manual for instructions.
I would think it should have come with a charging cable and information packet. Did the installer give you the original box it came in after they installed it? If not just do a google search of it with the model number and you’re questions you will get a answer.
I’ve used my usb c charger for my phone to charge my cameras when I first got them, should be fine.
