I am trying to

I am trying to pair these 12 window sensors with my Homebase 3 and they won’t pair unless I have it in the same room as the home base, I called tech support and the said that is correct.
I am connected to my WiFi . I press the sync button on the sensor and the home base says looking for new device and the phone app shows it trying to connect but won’t, unless I put it right next to the Home base!
Anybody having the same issue or is this the correct way to sync.

NVR Ned, I got the sensors to pair and yes you do have to have the sensor right next to the home base to sync. If the sensor does go off line, you have to pull the sensor off the window or door. My tip is make sure yo have enough room to be able to grab the sensor and pull the cover off with the battery so yo can take it to the home base to sync

I can’t get any of these sensors to notify me or sound any alarm. I am getting a quick RED flash on the sensor when I open the door, the manual says it’s low battery( just bought these yesterday) how can 12 batteries be DEAD??? I’m going to buy a new battery and try one, if this doesn’t solve the issue all 12 sensors are being returned!!!

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the Sensor and insert a new CR123A battery into the battery slot.
  2. Please make sure you have selected the correct device. When you are setting up a Motion/Entry Sensor, please select “Motion/Entry Sensor” when you add the device in the eufySecurity app.
  3. Please make sure you have pressed and held the SYNC button on the Sensor for at least 2 seconds until the LED indicator light is flashing blue. If the LED indicator light is flashing red or is not bright enough, please replace the battery with a new CR123A battery.
  4. Check if your HomeBase has Internet access.
  5. Please keep the Sensor and the HomeBase within 1m/3ft during the pairing process.

I skid all of the above, sadly I have the same issue. 1) does not notify when it is opened.
2) does not send signal to home base to sound alarm
3) shows close even though I open the door with sensor on line.

I decide to return all 12 sensors and rely on my cameras to protect my home. Very disappointed that something so simple can’t be rectified. My son has RING and we did every window and door in minutes and it works perfectly.
I liked the Eufy system after I read about the quality but I think they are not as advertised. Cameras are great the system, not so great!
