I had a package

I had a package delivered that had to have a signature or either. They redelivered, or I go pick it up at the ed, the delivery hub. well, I wasn’t home. The package got delivered early, and what the driver had to say, it’s just a little bit unsettling. should I report him or just let it go? If this package was stolen, it would have been a twenty five hundred.Dollar loss. and the company that sent, it is the one that put the directive for it to be signed by me. should I report him? That is the question?

That is up to you what you decide.

He said he seen you in the window. Is that true? If so, why didn’t you answer? I personally wouldn’t report him but that is up to you.

:face_with_monocle: depends what happens in the end of the matter. Amazon for example, will not leave an expensive item without a code. But verbal abuse etc from a driver would not be acceptable. Strange he says he saw you? I am normally cautios when someone rings my doorbell and will verify on the doorbell, who it is, if its apackage I am aware of being delivered makes it easier to identify the person, teh n I can open the door without worry.

:grinning:

most times if you order something requiring a signature they give you a date, he says he saw you or someone in the window how many times do they have to attempt to make the delivery and nobody is home? If you’re not going to be home you should have made arrangements to pick up at there hub. Maybe we are missing something but I think you should be more responsible.

If it’s supposed to be signed for just because you see somebody in the window doesn’t mean they necessarily live there or want to be responsible for the package obviously if somebody was in the window it might not be the right person to sign for it. If I have a visitor at my house and I leave I sure as hell don’t want my visitor signing for my package he doesn’t know if that’s a visitor or the person receiving the package so how yeah I would report his ass especially for something that cost $2,500 The signature is required for a reason that’s something that’s charged extra and then for him to be so unprofessional I would definitely report him and show his boss this video footage on how he acted

No, I was not even home.I have boxes on a couch.Did I keep there to keep my dog from jumping on the couch? But without going up to the window and looking in the window, he would have never even seen that. There was a two thousand dollar item that needed to be signed for.

I was actually on the phone with FedEx. Trying to get them to change the date in what they told me was they have to deliver it. And leave a tag if somebody is not home. And they did tell me when it was being delivered, but the time frame that they gave me was 6 hours and I don’t know who has the time to rearrange their life for 6 hours. Waiting on a delivery, i actually used to work for FedEx. So I know for a fact that they cannot over the phone. Alter, an order that requires a delivery, especially when the person’s sending it required.It.

You’re absolutely right. And so what he ended up doing was forging my name and my signature on the manifest. And to me, he was, oh I suggested that they check packages that he delivered, and the amount of people who had not signed or signed. And the theft rate behind him. Essentially, that’s tiltapping, if you work in a retail store and you’re taking a little bit of change out of the time, eventually you’re gonna get caught. So that investigation is still going on. And of course, I’ll never hear what happened, at least I don’t think I will. But coming from a fedex background, what he did was grounds for termination or serious reprimand just depending on if he worked for fedex or a contractor that contracted through fedex.

Weather I was home or wasn’t home whether I signed it or didn’t sign it. He should have never left it. Fortunately, I live in an okay neighborhood where I don’t think people are stealing packages off porches, at least I haven’t heard of that here, and fortunately, I was home within minutes from it. Being delivered and quite frankly, didn’t even think about the signature thing until I looked at the video and saw how he was just so amazingly, just offended that nobody answered the door and the fact that he didn’t have an opportunity to even see anybody in the house. Because I live alone and there was nobody at my house. And the only way he would have even been able to see that is, if he would have gone app to the window, put his hand on the window and looked in the window, and even at that, he would have had a very difficult time. Seeing in the window, so he lied and he overreacted and his overreaction and his abusive language to nobody. But a video doorbell, we’ll catch up to him. And sadly, somebody else might have been offended, and that could have changed their day in a very bad way. But for me, I thought it was hilarious. That he just busted himself in front of my camera and he will obviously have to answer to forging a customer’s signature. And his turse attitude at my door.

I actually did decide to report it to the vendor that I purchased it from, and also to fedex. And the reason I did it was because, well, number one, the attitude, this guy had at my door and 2, the reason that prices are so high in America. Right now partially is because of theft. I cannot tell you how many department stores have closed in the inner cities. Because of it.. And I don’t live in the inner city, but I definitely want to do my part. And helping to keep pricing lower and the fact that I have a security camera that though, that’s just another extra good use that I had for it. And also a good friend of mine still works at FedEx. And he said, report his ass, those were his words, not mine.
