I have been experiencing very low volume in one of my R50i earbuds. I’ve tried balancing sound on the device but to no avail. Anyone experiencing this and how can it be resolved?

When I experience low volume on my earbuds it’s usually because it’s dirty so I just clean it and after cleaning it’s sounds better

This morning my right earbud sound volume down. I asked perplexity and reset earbuds to default settings placing them in the case and hold the button for 5 seconds. It works fine again

We’re really sorry to hear that one of your R50i earbuds has much lower volume, and we completely understand how frustrating that can be.

To fix this issue, please try the following steps:

  1. Remove the ear tips from the earbud and clean the metal filter mesh.
    You can use a few drops of cleaning alcohol on a soft cloth and gently wipe the affected areas.

  2. Make sure the charging case has enough power and then reset the earbuds:
    • Open the charging case and take out both earbuds.
    • Press and hold the touch areas on both earbuds simultaneously for 10 seconds.

  3. Check the audio balance on your mobile device:

Android: Settings > Accessibility > Audio and On‑Screen Text > Audio > Balance
iPhone: Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Audio Balance
Samsung: Settings > Accessibility > Hearing enhancements > Connected audio
(Note: shifting the balance left makes the left earbud louder and the right quieter; shifting it right increases the right volume.)
