I need some advice, Eufy Community. A woman let her dog relieve itself on our front lawn right by our front door. She did clean it up, but the dog has now marked the area, so this may continue. Is this appropriate, and what would you recommend I say to her?

She did the right thing by cleaning up her dog mess. Just hope it doesn’t happen again but if it does then you can think of what say.

If you want to avoid possible confrontation maybe get one of those no dog signs, with a :prohibited::dog: I can’t find an emoji for a dog taking a crap lol but you get the idea lol.

There’s no lasting effects as long as it is picked up. Even if the dog goes there over and over. Clean up makes everything cool.

There’s lasting effects. The dog will constantly want to pee and poo there and apparently these people with the dog don’t care. Put a sign on the tree that says please don’t let your dog pee in my yard. It’s your yard not hers. The dog pee can kill bushes and grass. I’m a dog owner.i know. I’ve dealt with it.

Cleaned it up. But why let the dog :service_dog: :poop: right in front of your house when she has it on the leash?

The grass area near the road would have sufficed

As long as they scoop it up right after the pups done, there’s no harm to the property. The pup needed to go and found a spot .. it doesn’t mean he’ll make that spot a habit. I have pets and that is a negative comment because going to the same spot ( for dogs) simply isn’t true lol

I’ve had success Motion activated, dog repellent, whistles you can put in your yard.
I also carry one with me that works very well at stopping dogs from barking.
