I tried to download this clip. I get a video and it plays (time gauge moves) but the video is black. this used to work fine and easy. is. it just me? could someone try a download to see if it works?
It seems to be peculiar to the t8210 doorbell camera clips. Other cameras on the Homebase3 work as they did before. Cameras on the homebase2 work as they did before. What could be different about saved video clips from the T8210?
That’s strange, the video you posted plays fine, if that’s the one from your 2K doorbell?
The question is… Why isn’t it playing when you download it onto your phone.
Something’s a glitch.
Maybe a restart of your phone will fix it?
I’ve had this happen a few times I. The s220, not sure what happened, resolves itself. But I’d put in a ticket with Eufy for good measure. They’ll likely offer a warranty return.
If it plays for u, I need I to be aware that it is playing for me, but video is all black but sound does work. I’ll try clear cache and restart phone.
Cleared cache did not work. Shut down wait 5 minutes did work. I wonder what it was that made video fail for downloads while play clip from any date did work . Why only for saves of this one t8210 camera. I’ll probably never know, but as you said, it was related to phone glitch.
Too old for warranty. But, shut down startup seems to have eliminated the glitch.
Shut down and start up are great ideas. I’ve found that this helps with a lot of issues especially after updates. I’ve had similar issues on all my Eufy cameras, but don’t have a doorbell cam. I periodically turn off and back on my cameras in the app and also log out of the app and back in.
I’ve been getting this recently from a few different camera models. I thought it was just my hard drive glitching
It may be the HDD glitching. But if so, why only one specific camera saved clips. Also, the shut down and start up of phone fixed my problem. So definitely app/phone related issue for me. Might be related to recent android 15 update. Anyway, I’m back on track.

I don’t know if it’s the same problem I was having for a few weeks after my app updated to 6.0.03 I couldn’t get any events from my (11) E330 pro cameras to download but other models worked fine. I emailed support and it was a app update glitch. It worked on my other phone and my wife’s fine with the older app version 5.0.08. after a week they fixed it and released another app update 6.0.10 and everything is now working at 100%. This is all on iPhone not sure if the issue effected android
I tried all the clear cache, delete app, restart the phone, cameras and home base to but nothing worked. as I said it was a app update glitch
I’m on android 15. Turned out to be a conflict between app, android and saved clips from this camera. A shut down, wait, and start fixed it. Restart did not fix it, had to be shut down. Thanks for your info. May help in the future.
Strange
Clear the app cache, if the doorbell has a sd card or internal storage format it & it should work for future videos it’s just become corrupted & very easy to fix
Door bell does not have an SD card it uses a Homebase for storage. Strange as it may be a hard shut down and start again worked. During that week, I had android 15 update and two eufy app updates. Did restart phone after update but I guess it was not enough. Needed hard shutdown.
