I was in the at

I was in the attic with my phone in my back pocket when the uefy app suddenly blurted out the following message "this print has already been registered '.
Does anybody know what it refers to and how to change it to something meaningful

Hi, I’m just bumping this up for you.
What did it say? Because [ This print has already been registered ] not sure what that would refer to.

Weird, do you have one of the newer Hubs, with AI subscriptions? Only time my Eufy talks is when adding a device, but maybe it was “this person has already been registered,” for facial recognition?

Don’t have a hub, just the doorbell video cam E340. Not engaged AI yet either as I only got recently and am getting used to it

That makes two of us as I have no idea what a print is, how I managed to register one or what my posterior was doing to register the same print!!!

I had the same issue… every time a camera would trip while my phone was paired with my home wi fi. I changed a lot of notification settings on my phone but it still would give me the already print is registered message. Finally got it to stop by changing the app setting for the notification sound on each camera from the default setting to the "type " sound setting. This was the sound I chose when originally setting the cameras up, how it got changed to default I don’t know.

Yeah, do as @cwslonaker mentioned.
Going to your doorbell settings tap on Notifications and select a different motion detected sound see how it works out. After that try going back to default sound if you want to.

You’re not the only one that this has occurred to another forum had mentioned the issue too and blamed it on a firmware update.

Worked a treat!!! Thank you

I’ve been getting the same LOUD) notification several times a day for about a week, but I don’t have a doorbell cam or a hub. I only have Floodlight Cams.

I think it’s affecting only some cameras the six I have haven’t been doing that.

Did you fix it? Go into your floodlight cam settings and go into notifications and select the different sound.

My guess is it is referring to a finger print. Not quite sure why it would try to recognise a finger print in your back pocket… Did you check for stray hands?

I did change the notification sounds for the cameras that were doing it. Both of them had been set to Default, so I changed them to Type. That seemed to work for a few days. But now today I heard yet another weird tone when those cameras got triggered: three successive beeps, almost like a car horn. When I went back into the app, the the notification sound had somehow changed itself back to Default. So, did I fix it? I’m not sure how to answer that.:confused:

Like you, I was wondering why it referred to a “print.” I wondered, what could that possibly have to do with anything related to these cameras? None of my camera settings require any sort of biometric input. It just seems like a very strange message.

Do you know if the floodlight cam received a firmware update after you changed notification sound?
