Yeah, true…I have a friend who used to leave all windows down, car unlocked and trunk open…

this looks like an arid climate. I’d take daily smashed windows over even the risk of a single joyride with a black widow or brown recluse. but my violent arachnophobia may be at play here.
Wild that leaving it open feels safer than locking it.
