My camera is not capturing people coming up to my door. I have adjusted the sensitivity but its still not capturing. Please help.

Is the camera capturing anything? Can you post a screenshot of what the camera view is?
It might help with others to reply.

Get ready for a bumpy ride. The first twelve months the system was excellent.

I have four S3 Pro cameras hooked up to a Homebase 380 with continuous battery drainage problems, with a serious loss of power. The other issue is recordings are sometimes missing for some time.

I use an Apple iPhone to monitor and set options which by the way requires each camera to be set individually instead of pushing out the same settings as an option.

Two cameras with a HomeBase were bought in late 2025, while the last two cameras were purchased in early 2026. All suffer battery issues with the first two showing battery degradation.

You cannot buy new battery packs and to repair them it requires soldered on replacement batteries to a controlling chipset. Not having replacement batteries is an appalling lapse of consumer rights.

The software has only started to cause problems with the latest beta test installation and solar panel or not the cameras drain quickly on the highest energy savings settings.

There is not an easy fix and a cohesive instruction kit for minimum security would be nice with the newer interface.

I’m about to use them as ‘dead’ cameras and gradually replace them with a hard wired solution. I cannot keep climbing ladders to disconnect cameras to a charge them every three to four weeks one at a time.

Perhaps training a pair of dogs like Zeus and Apollo from Magnum PI would be a better option.

The view looks fine, besides seeing a lot of the sidewall, but you probably have it set like that as to not see the neighbors porch.

I would go into the doorbell cameras settings and toggle OFF motion detection and then go outside and press the doorbell button once. After that go back into the camera settings and turn ON motion detection.
Now check and see if it’ll pick up humans now.
