My eufy video door bell 340 isn’t alerting me when I come in and out of the house. I tried changing the sensitivity and ther is no AI recognition on. What’s going on? Do I trash this and go w a different brand?
Oh no, don’t throw it in the trash just yet, simplesmall! 
It is SO annoying when a smart doorbell decides to go on strike and ignore you coming through your own front door! Before you give up on the E340, there are a couple of hidden settings that usually trip people up when AI mode is turned off.
First off, check your Activity Zones in the Motion Detection menu! If there is even an old tiny box drawn in there, the camera might be completely ignoring everything outside of it. Honestly, just delete any zones you have set up right now so the entire frame is open.
Also, pop into Power Manager! If it is set to battery saver mode, the radar sensor literally goes to sleep to save juice and misses people walking by quickly. Switch it over to Optimal Surveillance or Custom so it stays on high alert!
Lastly, make sure the detection type is set to All Motion for now just to force it to wake up every single time something moves.
