New C210 keeps going offline/disconnecting

Hi

Had a solocam C210 camera less than a week now but it has now disconnected twice, it just says the camera is offline. I reboot the router and it doesn’t reconnect. So I had to take it down and reconnect it to the WiFi, it has now done it again tonight. I am not using homebase. I have the latest firmware on it. I had a previous solocam E40 in the same spot that never disconnected/went offline like this one. The WiFi should be OK. Any thoughts?

OK, I just changed the WiFi channel and it seems to have come back online. We are in a very low WiFi area so I can’t believe the channel was congested. Will have to keep an eye on it.

You know, I had an issue with my three C220 SoloCams. I didn’t lose connection like you but, my video playback and live view was choppy. Changing the Wi-Fi channel solved that.
Besides another Wi-Fi network disturbing it it could be anything like a new device in your home causing interference. Like a cordless phone.
Keep us updated if it happens again.

Yeah, I have had choppy playback too with previous camera. I think what fixed it was changing channel width from 40mhz to 20mhz and possibly changing channels too.

I wondered if water was possibly getting in as we have it hooked up to a solar panel but it has micro usb connection so I had to get a micro to usb c adapter and plug it in and this new camera doesn’t come with rubber to protect the charging ports when a solar panel is plugged in like the solocam e40. Perhaps because they don’t have an official usb c solar panel available yet? Though I think if water was getting in it would do more than just knock it off our network!
