Just bought 2k video doorbell catches people walking past but didn’t get refuse collectors or postman coming to property or me walking down path
That’s a drawback of PIR sensor technology. Great for horizontal movement, not so much for head on motion.
Play around with the sensitivity, detection will increase but also false detections.

Biggest problem for doorbell cams… the one place you should install the cam is the wrong place.
