I have a camera that is mounted 7 ft in front entrance. The steps are 12 from the camera. The camera doesn’t pickup the person until it it 6 ft away. I have tilted the camera down so that I can see their face. The camera picks up a shot at least 20 ft from the door. How can I have it trigger sooner?

What is your sensitivity level set to?
Can you post a screenshot of what the camera sees / views?

Have you considered resetting the camera and seeing if that maybe corrects the issue? I’ve found quite a few issues have been fixed with this basic step
Welcome to Eufy, you will soon find out that there camera’s and home base are garbage. Hopefully you didn’t spend a 1000 dollars on there camera’s like I did. Live and learn I guess
It is set to maximum. I have adjusted area to start at bottom of steps to the door.
