Popped a sd card in to my chime,it doesn’t recognize it,I tried formatting it,in my laptop,still nothing
Unless you are running Linux or a Mac, you can’t format the SDcard. Its formatted as Ext4. It should step you through formatting in the chime if it needs it.
There are a lot of bogus cards for sale these days. I always use Samsung High Endurance cards because they are designed for security work and will tolerate many write cycles. Also, 128 GB is the max allowed card size.
