Should I upgrade to the new home-based with some older model cameras, is it worth it?

It’s not worth the price honestly I looked at it. I just got a battery backup from Costco plugged my Homemade, router and wireless modem all into it. So even if the power goes out all my cameras and Internet works great. Power during an outage is important but it’s worthless if you can’t access it remotely via your phone cus your router and modem are down. I’d pass if I were you.
It depends if you get a deal on it. . Its regular price e is way too much. But they had a deal on it for 300 pluse they took my old home base as a tradin so I got it for pretty cheap and with the battery backup incorporated I thought it was a good deal.
