Smart Display not connecting to camera

I just started with Eufy products today. I downloaded the app to my phone, set up a HomeBase S380 and a EufyCam c35 fine, and can see the video on the app.
But then I tried setting up a Smart Display E10. The instructions say to turn on the display and set up language etc, connect to wi-fi, which I did, then set the lock screen password. Then it says to scan the QR code displayed on the screen. There is no QR code there. The unit said it needed an update, so I did that, thinking maybe the QR code would come up after that, but nope. It’s showing that it’s connected to my HomeBase, but it’s not connecting to my EufyCam at all. What do I need to do? Thanks

Hi, I don’t think the QR code instructions is correct, as I also had seen that and don’t think it’s needed at all.
I just connected to my home’s Wi-Fi and then entered my email and password to log in to the E10 display, the same one I use for the eufy app.
In the settings for the Smart Display does it show you as logged in? You’ll see towards the bottom a “Log Out of Account” if you are.

You could try to restart the smart display. Hold down the power button until you see two options and then.. Slide to Restart

I looked up the Smart Display manual on the Eufy website this morning. They have a list of items that are compatible with the Smart Display, and the EufyCam c35 is not on the list. So I think that is the problem. It’s a shame, because the Smart Display was $200, certainly not cheap for what is just a small tablet. I can see the C35 camera feed on my phone, just not on the Smart Display. Yes, it does show me logged in. But I’ll try your suggestion to restart the Smart Display, I have nothing to lose. Thanks.

Well hopefully they’ll add it soon…
