The tray always ends up like this is my base defective

Mine was doing this i found the hose in the back was getting pinched inbehind the tray when I inserted it.
I pulled the tray out cleaned it then pulled the hose forward when inserting its worth checking?
Make sure both clean and dirty water tanks are fully seated and there is no build up at the connection points. Then make sure the hose at the bottom, and in the back of that area is seated properly when the catch tray is put back in place. That little hose should be in the catch tray. Its what should be removing the water.
oh ew gross I don’t want that to happen and just sit there !
