Cats are territorial, especially the boys that are not neutered. We work with a tot of TNR groups in our area. Cats have it hard, they are picked on: abused, dumped, mistreated. The ones that are abandoned outside have to fight for survival, against Humans, and Wildlife predators. It’s such a hard balance. On one hand you don’t want the male Cats to fight or be territorial, but you want them all to live healthy happy lives, on the other hand you do not want to see the battle scars the male Cats can leave.

Not sure it’s eating the plant looks like it could be rubbing on it. But eating grass or plants could be a sign of an upset tummy.
