Although the News category still appears in the Conversations tab, it is no longer an option when selecting a category for a new post.
There is no related category to news, so I don’t know where to post my updates on new and upcoming releases.
I have had that same problem. I think the News tag is only for Eufy workers.

Yes, only admins can post in this category. If you want to post this you can choose off-topic

That doesn’t make any sense. Why should news have to go in off-topic?
