While we haven’t solved any acts of criminal mischief or other nefarious attempts on our property with our Eufy security cameras over the past 3 years (thankfully, we’ve had none thus far), we were able to provide this footage to assist our next door neighbors who have no security to speak of on their property following what they assume was a pre-planned mid-morning theft by an acquaintance of their son who gained entry via a side bedroom window known to be well secluded from street view.
Too bad for him, his approach from the street was NOT fully secluded from view of our Eufy camera, which thankfully used its onboard AI-based human motion detection algorithm to capture this clip which as you can see was triggered by motion occurring quite nearly out of the cameras field of view along the left uppermost edge of visible frames.
