I’m in January 2024 now and just purchased Eufy 2K doorbell thinking it would have RTSP by now. It seems it does not. I’m returning it and making a Youtube video on why not to purchase Ring or Eufy. I had good hopes for Eufy. It looks like it’s going back to China.

Here to keep up the pressure to add the promised RTSP feature to the doorbell cameras. One of our indoor cameras died not long ago. I may just switch these out for Reolink cameras if RTSP is not added soon. Reolink also has a better working Home Assistant integration.

I have the same request.
I have home assistant, and binding in the camera through P2P vs RTSP seems (and is) weired - I need to go stream the video through the internet once to then receive it locally in home assistant, to use it (with a huge delay of 3-6 seconds).
Now guess, how long people wait in front of the door - not much longer than that.
This way, this doorbell does not provide the purpose it has.
Nowadays it’s not about one closed down ecosystem (with Apple’s golden cage being one exception, for some strange reason) - but it’s about being able to integrate many systems as seamlessly as possible.
EUFY is not seamless at all - it is quite cumbersome.
(And I have been one of the early backers on Kinckstarter … with 7 cameras, two homebases (unfortunately the S380 bricked for some reason 3 months after I got it) - and the doortbell.
I gues my EUFY days are soon over.

Another + for the RTSP stream for the doorbell cams, as long as they are wired for powered.
