How is this not a feature yet 4 years later? Absolutely ridiculous.

I just got Eufy - every other brand Iā€™ve used has this option, didnā€™t even think to check before purchasing. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ironically the Eufy support AI chatbot says itā€™s possible, but evidently still not when trying to implement.

This feature is a must have to setup correct security rules.

Can we use Alexa instead of your app to control away and home modes?
i mean its been 4 years Elon musk will have build a starship and you can set a working schedule in your app!

Soā€¦ Sad to say that Alexa has the routine option to set the system to Away and Home but it does not work. Internet says it stopped working around 1 year agoā€¦

Well said! That puts it in perspective. Although Iā€™d say Spacex has a larger budget.

Iā€™m using Google Home (Google Assistant) integration since it has access the Eufy HomeBase Security Modes, including the custom modes. And now that Google has added the ability to use scripted Automations that include conditions, that makes it totally automated for me without having to use voice commands. But itā€™s only about 90% reliable using two actions, and it doesnā€™t work at all if any Eufy device is offline.

Just expressing my gratitude for considering this requested feature. Being a developer myself I actually think this feature is actively restricted as to me it seems thereā€™s no logical difference between any of the modes that can scheduled. Of course each mode has its own logic, but the concept of toggling a mode at a given time should not matter from one mode to the other - so they must have excluded geofencing actively from the scheduling feature.

Maybe to illustrate why this feature is helpful to us:

  • When Iā€™m at home, or any of the other connected devices from my wife and kids, thereā€™s no need for push notifications. We still record in the event of unwanted visitors even when weā€™re at home=> At home mode is active which is triggered from Geofencing mode;
  • When weā€™re all not at home weā€™d like to receive push notifications => Away mode is triggered from Geofencing mode;
  • When someone(s) or all of us are at home, but when itā€™s night time say between 23:00 - 07:00 I want the cameras to flash and the Homebase to ring the alarm. Iā€™ve set up a custom mode for that => Night mode.
  • From the schedule I want to activate Geofencing between 07:00 - 23:00 and my Night mode between 23:00 - 07:00.

Please consider adding the feature. Based on the comments (and thatā€™s only the folks that take action to express their feature request) itā€™s a highly valued feature. Thanks.
