Need RTSP for my wired 2k also!
RTSP please
Want some form of having my Synology Surveillance record/save the Eufy doorbell events/video.
+1 - RTSP is needed to make the Eufy doorbell viable
I think it’s quite clear now that eufy have no intention of doing this and probably never had any real intentions either. Just a sales ploy. I’m moving home shortly and won’t be bothering to take my doorbell with me. I’ll be considering what to buy but it definitely won’t be a eufy. I’ll never buy this brand ever again. Shame as the new house is 3000 square feet I was looking to secure with cameras inside and out.
Add one more +1 for RTSP support. This is clearly not a technical problem but a sales/marketing one. Disappointing

It’s getting silly now, many people have tickets open with support stating they’re looking to implement but just left it on back burner.
Come on Anker/Eufy sort out this very simple thing, the port is already open (TCP/554) so that tells me half the work is done you just need to refine it and enable the option.

How about we get some dev time schedule so the team can knock this out and make some people happy Eufy?
+1 for RTSP support
Just bought and installed the 2K Wired Doorbell camera, I just assumed that RTSP would be supported in a modern device - I guess I should have looked into it more before buying.
Crap I thougt Doorbell already supported RTSP. Returning the stuff.
I’ve just had a response from another email I sent asking about RTSP for the doorbells. Here it is:
According to our engineer’s initial evaluation, supporting RTSP has specific requirements on hardware. In addition, the RTSP will consume the performance of the wired doorbell to so extend.
Our engineering team is actively investigating and trying and will continue evaluating the market demands and possibilities.
This doesn’t sound promising whatsoever
@Conor_Jay could we toggle off some built-in features in exchange for gaining rtsp? Allow us to use our own solutions for motion detection & alerting, should save a good amount of cpu. At least at a lower resolution I’d think it should be possible.
It was a lie to begin with. They should do the noble thing and be honest. We already bought the product, we are already stuck with the product. Just be honest FFS.

Yes, please create this feature!
Pretty sure Eufy have no intention of adding RTSP to their doorbells. It’s been a year now and nothing.
If you bought yours through Amazon, contact Amazon customer service, mention that you bought it for RTSP and Eufy still haven’t delivered RTSP despite promising it.
Amazon will refund you even if you’re outside the return and warranty period.
Returned mine today using this method. Buying something else instead, and I definitely won’t be buying Eufy again
Anyone know an alternative product that supports rtsp? (And no subscription)
I’m pretty pissed at Eufy for their false promises. I bought 4 camera’s, the 2K doorbell, sensors, the keypad, and much more. That the wireless sensors don’t work with HomeKit, Alexa or Google Home, that makes sense in a way. But the doorbell?!
I had loads of questions from friends and family about my home security setup, and didn’t advice them to buy Eufy, mostly because of their lack of support.
Eufy, if you’re reading this; for Pete’s sake, add RTSP so we can at least make it homekit compatible via numerous smarthome solutions like Hoobs, Homebridge, and the likes.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll try this tomorrow. What a scam company.
