Each device has their own notification settings or you can set up home away, night etc. QYou can customize the group name. Have the cameras behave differently in each group based on time , your gps location or an action button in the app. The outdoor lights do need constant power to execute programmed scenes . Go into notifications on the door bell to customize those.

Thanks, I know I can change settings per camera but my problem is that when I turn off notifications it seems the lights also don’t receive a command to turn on.

Ah ok I see you may have to pick a less noticeable tone and put in a suggestion for a notification type that is silent but continues to send the trigger.
