2c pro spotlight not coming on manually while live streaming

2c pro spotlight will not come on manually while streaming video on 3 of my 4 cameras only 4 days old also, and worked fine when I first set up

Manually? … automatically?
Is it dark enough outside? Is spotlight selected as night vision choice on those 3 cams in settings?

Manually and automatically and is completely dark all cameras are on the exact same settings and only one of the 4 work

When live-streaming ( when it’s dark) … if you tap the little flashlight icon… what happens.
I would bet good money you don’t have 3 bad cameras.

Also … if you change the default nigh vision setting to B&W… what happens?

We will figure this out!

Also… the spotlight on these 2c models is super weak. What is the spotlight setting ? 100 % ? (Change it to 80%… to test). Also… point the camera temporarily at some object close by… 15 ft or so.

Had someone with a similar question… the cams were working… just not hitting something close by. They didn’t walk out and actually look at the camera.

When live streaming and I press the flashligh icon it just brings up the loading icon and says preparing to play and then brings up a still picture of the last recorded image. All cameras have been placed into the same room next to each other all on the same settings an only 1 out of the 4 will turn on its weird

Do all your cams live stream? But pressing the spot light button freezes them?

All cameras live stream fine its only when pressing spotlight on 3 of them that there is a problem

How far from the homebase are your cams.? If you bring one that doesn’t work within 20 ft of the homebase… same failure?

this here (When live streaming and I press the flashligh icon it just brings up the loading icon and says preparing to play and then brings up a still picture of the last recorded image ) is normally connectivity issue. Take one of those problem cams and move it to a new location… even if it’s close to the homebase. Within 20 ft. Turn on livestream… if you can see yourself waving at the camera… then tap the flashlight icon (doesn’t need to dark). If it fails then?

This is an extremely odd problem. I thought maybe we were not understanding the issue. So… I don’t know what’s going on but here is what I would do if these were my cams.

I would first check the firmware of homebase and all cams and see if your up to date. ( that “check for latest firmware” button doesn’t work.). Then try again

Then I would remove and hard reset all cams (including the one that works) and homebase wiping it back to factory setting. Then start from scratch update everything and re-add all cameras but not the one that worked. I would want to see if I now had 1 that worked and 2 that failed.

Whatever happens please let us know. I’m invested now. So many people figure out the problem and then never let us know.

Also… is there more to this picture that you have not shared? HomeKit…Alexa…google… nas… any third party nonsense involved here? Or just the latest eufy security app? Also wired to your router or is homebase on WiFi?
