2k wired doorbell use mechanical chime

New here, just started with the eufy eco system coming from an Arlo video solution. Here is my situation i do want my mechanical 3 bell chime to play when the button is pressed. At this moment it does not work for the front door however my side and rear door will use the mechanical chime no issues. My doorbell chime is old from the 60’s maybe 70’s love it. Its made by nutone I had to change the original nutone transformer that was 15VA 15V to a modern that did 30VA and the required voltage. eufy device works well no issues on power, it passed the voltage test and it’s working. My chime is not like what you see in all of the YT videos or even the manual for eufy that show a Front, Trans, Rear. It has a COM TRANS FRONT REAR SIDE, and EXT FRONT. Because its old. From what I understand is that the video doorbell will close the circuit so the mechanical chime will sound but that is not what is happening. I don need to bypass the chime to provide enough power because is getting enough power. I am not sure what else to try to get it to work. I attached the connections on the chime to give a better reference.

Thanks

1st I’m a electrician just so you know. Looking at your picture some of the wires on the chime don’t look like they are making good connections but they might still be working but could use some attention just remove 1 wire at a time and reconnect making sure they are completely around the screw terminal and loops in a clockwise direction so the wire doesn’t back off when tightening. So with that said I assume you’re new Eufy door bell is a wired unit (what model?) mine works the house chime perfectly and I didn’t have to modify any of the wiring do you realize that you have to turn the option of using house chime on in the app? At least that’s how my DB camera is I’ll try to post a screenshot. If this doesn’t work message me and maybe I can be of further assistance I leave for work shortly so I might not be answer till later today

Thank you for the reply, I have reset the wires but did not wrapped them clockwise I just pull them off and put them back on how they were. i will try that. The model is a wire 2k T8200

I do not have that option, so does that mean that this model does not support a mechanical door bell?

Well damn, quick google search and it seems I bought the wrong doorbell, ugh

What model door bell do you use?

Mine is a S220 ( some times also known by another model number T8210C Eufy uses 2 different numbers for some reason) it’s both battery and powered. If you search S220 on amazon you will find it. This model requires a homebase to operate and to store recordings. A homebase 3 is worth it though and it is on sale in the Eufy app for $99. in the USA :united_states: or $119. on Amazon regularly priced at $149.

Thanks for the model. I already have a home base as I used the cameras

It’s a s380

Wanted to say thank you as I have a working chime , i did not get the s220 because I search amazon for s220 the seller (eufy security store) had 3 options battery , one with a base and battery or wired. I choose wired what I got was a C31 model it seems that if you picked the battery and wired it changed the model. What I did learn that this model will not work wired only it has to have the battery installed. It slowly charges the battery using the wiring but when I press the button it rings my chime.
