They might be trash pandas, but they can come in really handy a lot of the time. The fact one comes right up to the camera to check it out is adorable.

Curtis… Believe it or not, this is only a glimpse of the activity my backyard gets. I must get 30 raccoons through it every nite. A few nights ago I had 2 coyotes in my fenced in area, they jumped in. I set of the alarm on my cameras and they jped back out. If they didn’t, they would of been unalived by daylight.

I wish that’s all the trash pandas did around my house
Sometimes they did knock my trash barrels over, but I solved that issue and bungee them down my now. They try to open them and they just snap back. After 20 tries they move on. I have to give them credit for constantly trying.
I read where spraying cayenne pepper liquid and water where you don’t want them in your lawn and garden works pretty good and it does. Put it in a hand pump sprayer. They get it on their paws and when they lick it off it burns there mouths. I guess it works, they don’t mess with my garden area and tear it up any longer. They used to destroy my vines and crops, now they don’t even go near them. I put vadoline on my bird feeder poles with cayenne pepper juice on them to and they leave those alone as well.

That is so crazy, and a lot of animals wow. I just don’t get to see to many wild animals, (besides the pretty regular birds, and a squirrel here, and there), especially in nature so I enjoy all the amimal videos very much, and I appreciate the people that upload them, so thank you. 
I also use my camera to scare of really loud crows, and magpie’s that sometimes sit so close to your window, and their squaking can get so loud. It’s a great feature for so many uses.

Curtis…I live in Richfield Ohio which is halfway between Akron & Cleveland, if you look on a Ohio State Map. Where are you located if you don’t see many animals other than squirrels and birds?

Hi, I’m actually up in Canada in a big city, (concrete playground), and I really haven’t been out of the city much, and definitely not outside my province, (just like a US state), so opportunity to see wildlife just isn’t there. Which probably sounds crazy considering Canada has some of the most amazing wildlife, but born, raised, stayed in the big city, so unfortunately it is what it is.

It’s all what your used to. I’m sure it has its pluses to staying on the city.
These solar cameras especially the S40 and the S230 series really opened my eyes up to what I have coming out of my woods. I had no idea before I installed these cameras. I have 4 strategically placed in my backyard and I’m my front yard looking back towards the woods, so I can track what and where they are going. My neighbor behind me live in the township of Richfield. They are allowed to hunt on there property. I am not, my property is in Richfield Village. But they did give me permission (written) to un alive coyote on their land. Which means I can step one foot off my back property and Im legal without the village penalizing me. They have 108 acres of open farm land behind me. They have 2 houses behind me on this land. They also dispatched 350 coyotes in the past 2 years off their land. They Breed horses and run a successful horse farm, so coyotes can’t be around to often.
25 years ago Ohio had maybe 100 coyotes in the entire state, now we have 25,000 and there everywhere. Problem is they have no predator above them, to control there population like a Mountain Lion, A Cougar, A Bear or a Wolf. Only thing is man.

Curtis…reason why I do not like coyotes is a friend of mine came upon a coyote den, on the side of a ravine when they were out scouting for deer last fall..
He said him and his friend didn’t getu j closer because they weren’t armed just encase. They came back at a later date and decided they were gonna dig it out and see exactly how deep it went and what, if anything was still left in it. They came back right before the snow fell and it wasn’t active, however they found it to be 5 feet deep, with a tunnel 15 foot back into the earth and they recovered over 100 dog/cat collars of people’s pets. Some had names and phone numbers on them, some just had numbers on them. Probably the rabies tag number.
That is the number one reason I do not like coyotes, in residential areas. They snatch peoples pets, when there not looking. Even if there in their own yards. And a coyote can scale a 8ft wall with a animal in its mouth. There unbelievable predators when there hungry and 99% around here are skin/bones and are hungry. Don’t trust them at all.
