Do you have a local bear?
No bears. The deer here normally walk freely in the early evening and at night in small groups. They are not easily spooked. There is some construction in the area where the deer used to bed and we did have heavy rain and high winds that may have made them late for their foraging trip. There was a man walking slowly about 30 feet behind the group on the sidewalk - they did not seem to feel pushed or worried for their safety.
