I’ve added my wife as admin on her phone but she doesn’t seem to be able to see the saved recordings on her phone that I can see on mine yet I’ve let her have full access so she should be able to see them surely. Can anyone help with this?
She will need to view the videos through the event logs.
When I receive a notification, it opens to view the recorded event. Why is my partners notification treated differently? When she receives a notification it just opens the app? She has full admin access. Cannot see any settings to change?
No idea why they designed the system that way. It has been like that since I have installed the App middle of last year. Hopefully they will change it so that both access is the same. I wonder whether you are able to log in to both devices with same account and that it won’t caused one to log out. If so, that’s probably a better way to get proper access to the system.
@khy888 There is a setting that controls how notifications open. For the doorbell, it works differently than for the cameras. Go to the doorbell menu in the app and select Notification. Middle of the page is a setting that determines whether your notification jumps to Live View or Related History Event. My guess is your settings are different. Note this is for Android. Not sure if iPhone is the same.
I actually tried, but both mobiles would not play the recorded event, it just opened the app?
I don’t have the doorbell, still using the Ring. But using all Eufy cameras but do not see that option?
The jump to History event only appears on the doorbell for some reason. All the rest of Eufy’s devices just open the Live View.
