Last night my eufy cam2 pro/HB2 alarm was tripped. I have the anti-theft detection option switched “on”, and I’m going to assume it was high winds that caused the camera to trip the alarm. The camera doesn’t appear to be tampered with (ie the camera angle is exactly the same, and there was no recording). Despite the false alarm, I think it’s a great feature…, but only if you’re home to hear the alarm. Is there a setting to receive a push notification if the camera/hb alarm has been tripped? There was an “event” noted in the eufy app, but no actual push notification was sent to any of my devices.

There isn’t a specific push notification option for the Homebase alarm going off. Developers probably assumed there would be other detections to alert the owner of issues.
It would be a good idea to add this to the list of Push notifications that can be sent from the system, but Eufy doesn’t seem to care very much about the needs of their customers. Asking for something like this on this forum is almost a guarantee it won’t ever get implemented. Unfortunately, if they can’t make money from it, it doesn’t get done.
The same thing happened to us with the same setup. I imagine this would be fairly easy to implement and would provide a lot more practicality and functionality to the anti-theft feature to their eufycam 2 pro lineup.
